The fact that Renault sell so few of these in Australia and had parts says a lot. They have always be great with parts in Australia at worst next day supply and repair.

There’s something up with that engine, l have a 1.2 t , 7 speed auto in a Megane and it will trying to spin the wheels with traction control on. And it has a bit less torque.

While the 0-100 of this Liberty seems a bit slow by modern standards; I have sat in one as a passenger and it seemed like a comfortable (very good head room), quiet vehicle that had no problem keeping up with the flow of traffic.

We dyno tested a BF XR6 with full exhaust and bigger FPV intake , it made 184kw at the wheels , that's more than 200kw at the engine .
